Tucker Police Department Records

The Tucker Police Department is at 1975 Lakeside Parkway, Tucker, GA 30084. Call (678) 937-0300 for general questions. The department was created when Tucker incorporated and handles all law enforcement in the city. Before incorporation, the DeKalb County Police Department handled this area. Some older records may still be with the county police.

Tucker Municipal Court is at the same address. Call (678) 937-0305 for court questions. The municipal court handles city ordinance violations and some misdemeanors. It does not handle felony cases. All felony charges in Tucker go to the DeKalb County Superior Court in Decatur.

Since Tucker is a newer city, some residents may still be more familiar with the DeKalb County Police. Both the Tucker PD and DeKalb County Police can make felony arrests in the area.
